M & M's
Part Two

I moved into my new condo, bought some new furniture and relaxed into my brand new home. The area was beautiful and quite comfortable. The condo was rather big for just one person to be living in it, but hey, I like space.
I had a small patch of garden by the front door and a patio out back.
The patio was complete with a view overlooking the huge, crystal blue water pool.
Since the condo was 2-story, I made the loft my bedroom and made the downstairs bedroom into a work area, mainly a computer room. What gave the condo even more privacy was that it was upstairs.

Since it was a hot and humid day outside, something I rarely saw back in California, I left the sliding glass door to the patio open and turned on all the fans and opened all of the windows.
I changed into a comfortable pair of shorts and a green tank top.

After only a minute of relaxing on my couch, I heard a knock at the door. Sighing, I got up and walked to the door. As soon as I opened it, I was greeted with more than a dozen Peach colored roses. A man in a uniform looked at his clipboard and then at me.

"Are you Miss De La Cruz?" he asked.

"Yep. But I wasn't expecting flowers."

"No one ever really does. Sign here please." He handed me his clipboard and I signed my name.

"Who are these from?" I asked.

"Sorry ma'am, but I was instructed not to say. Have a good day!" I watched as he retreated down the stairs and walked away. Still flabbergasted, I took the flowers into the house and into the kitchen, forgetting to shut the front door.

Three dozen Peach long stemmed roses. I smiled to myself. There was a small card attached to one of the roses. It read: 'I hope these make up for the M & M's.' My jaw dropped wide open. Then all of a sudden I felt a pair of warm, masculine hands slip over my eyes. A pair of lips were breathing right by my ear.

"I hope you're not too thrilled to see me?"

I removed the hands from my face and turned around only to be face to face with the Blonde one.

"Quite the opposite. Actually. What are you doing here?" I asked eyeing him carefully. Nick smiled and relaxed his features.

"I wanted to see your reaction but it seems as if I'm too late. I'll have to try something new next time."

"Wonderful. So besides wanting to see my reaction, why else are you here?"

"I knew you'd want to see me again Brash. I couldn't wait to see you and your adorable attitude."

"Are you trying to hit on me Blondie?"
Nick stepped in closer to me and stared me in the eyes.

"Is it working?"

Yeah, like I'm going to say yes. "Nope." I walked out of the kitchen and sat back down on the couch. Nick took a rose and walked out into the living room.

"This is a lovely condo you have here Brash."

"Thank you."

"Mind if I take a look around?"

"Might as well seeing as how it's the last time you're ever going to be here." I said with a smart-allelic look on my face.

"Ouch, that hurt Brash. Hmmm, I think I'll start with the loft."
As soon as I heard him say those words and saw him heading for the stairs leading to my room, I shot up, ran up, and passed him on the stairs and stopped him.

"The loft isn't important Dick…I mean Nick. There's nothing up here that you need to see."

"Really? Why? Do you have pictures of me plastered all over the walls?" he asked cockily with a cute grin.

Okay, now that comment upset me.
"Of course not! Fine, go up and look you arrogant butt." I turned to my side and Nick walked passed me his hands grazing the side of my body and up into my room. I followed him and watched as he looked around the room.

"It's just as I expected it to be."

My room was painted a soft green color, with white carpeting; a white bed set with fluffy white comforter, light green throw pillows and matching curtains. All the rest of the accessories in my room were either white with green trim or vice versa.

"What do you mean it's just as you expected?" I asked.

"It's very tranquil. Much like your personality, although you refuse to believe so." Wow. Where did that come from?

"Well, whatever. Are you done yet?" I asked in an irritated voice.

"Nope, there's one more thing I need to do." With that said, Nick plopped down on my bed and sighed.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"I'm laying on your bed, care to join me?" Oh why did he always have to smile that cute arrogant smile of his?

"I don't think so. Care to get up?" I said as I folded my arms.

"I don't think so. I'm actually rather comfortable."

Just as I was about to respond, the phone rang. Unfortunately, the phone was lying next to Nick on the bed.

"Would you like to get it or should I?" he asked. I hesitantly walked to the bed, leaned over Nick's body and picked up the phone. I looked down and saw him smiling at me as I turned on the phone.

"Brash. How on earth did you get Nick Carter's autograph?" Came my little sister's screaming voice. I rolled my eyes and continued to look at Nick.

"So I take it you got the magazine?"

"Brash how did you get it?" She continued to scream.

"I was sitting next to him on the plane." This caught Nick's attention. His eyes perked open. Next thing I knew I was being pulled down onto the bed, then underneath Nick's body. I looked up at him as if he was insane. He winked at me and urged me to go on.

"Oh my God, I have so many questions! Is he cute in person?" she asked. Nick heard this and smiled down at me expectedly. I was trapped.

"Sass, you already know what I think of Carter boy. So are you happy with his autograph?"

"Happy? Happy does not even describe how I feel! Did you touch him?"
Oh my Lord.

"Did I touch him? Yeah Sass, I pinned him to the ground and molested him." Nick leaned his head down and lightly kissed my cheek.

"Stop!" I said, louder than I meant to.

"Brash, what is going on?" asked Sass.

"Umm, nothing." Nick moved his lips from my cheek to my neck and started kissing me again.

"So, you don't think he's even better looking in person?"

Completely mesmerized by the feel of Nick's lips on my neck, I moaned my answer; "He's so much better looking in person."

Nick stopped and looked up at me, smiling like the cat that ate the canary. I quickly got off the phone with my sister, threw the phone to the side, and sighed.

"I guess you like me more than I thought Brash" he said.

"Why are you always so cocky Nick?"

"I'm not. Only around you. You certainly bring it out in me. Do you have any idea how attracted to you I am?"

"Eww. Why are you getting all mushy on me? And I don't like you."

"Oh really? Then why haven't you asked me to get off of you yet?" Now that I didn't have an answer for.

"I don't know" I whispered.

"What would you do if I kissed you right now?" he asked. "I'd tear off all your clothes and do you right here and now."

Nick looked at me in what could only be described as utter shock. "What?"
Oh shit.

"Did you just say what I think you just said?"

Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God.
"Did I just say that out loud?"

"I think you did!" he laughed.

I slapped my forehead and silently cursed myself.

"So that's what you really thinking about?" he laughed.

"Of course not! I slipped and accidentally said it out loud."

"Okay, let me get this straight. That comment was what you were thinking in your head, but you were going to say something else?"

"Yes. I mean no! I mean…Oh for crying out loud!"

Nick laughed and re-adjusted his position over me. "Let's try this again. What would you do if I kissed you right now?" he asked.

"I guess there is only one way to find out."

Nick looked me in the eyes for a minute before finally leaning his head in closer to mine. After what seemed like forever, Nick's lips finally brushed against mine lightly. I closed my eyes and reached my face to meet his lips again. His lips crushed against mine and sent goose bumps all throughout my body. When he pulled away again he was looking into my eyes.

"Go out with me tonight?" he softly whispered.

"Okay"

"I'll pick you up at seven?"

"Great. What should I wear?"

"Your pajamas. And bring a toothbrush."

"Exsqueeze me?" I asked in surprise.

"I'm kidding. Wear something comfortable."

"Where are you taking me?"

"Definitely somewhere private."

"And why is that?" I smirked?
"Because," Nick kissed me again. "I want us to be alone," he kissed me again, "all night long." When he kissed me again, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him as close to me as physically possible, at the moment. My skin went tingly as his entire body weight rested onto my body. I wasn't really sure what was happening to me at the moment, but what ever it was, it was making me feel different. All my hatred from the past towards Nick subsided and all I could concentrate on was the glorious feel of his petal soft lips against mine. I frowned when the kiss ended.

"I've only known you for two days and we're already in bed together" I joked.

"Yeah, but we're only kissing. You were the one that wanted to go further, remember?" he smiled.

"That was an honest mistake!"

"Sure, I believe you. Well, am I going to see you tonight?"

"I'm not sure…" kissed me then, as our lips slowly parted Nick's tongued lined my lips.

"Are you sure now?"

"I'm not sure I like the way you are using your sexuality to get me to say that I'll go on a date with you."

"You think I'm sexual?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"I'll see you at seven Nick."

"I'll take that as a yes. See you later." With one final kiss, Nick got off of me and left the condo, leaving me smiling. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen that night.
